Terms of Service (Callers)

1. About Open Ears

Open Ears is an online platform that helps callers connect with vetted members for real-time audio/video conversations. These Terms govern your use of the Open Ears callers website and services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for ensuring you are legally permitted to use the service in your location.

3. Safety, privacy, and off-platform contact

To protect both callers and members, you agree that you will not attempt to contact a member (and will not allow contact to take place) outside of the Open Ears service. This includes requesting, sharing, or exchanging personal contact details such as phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles, or messaging app usernames.

If someone asks you to move a conversation off-platform, you should refuse and report it using the reporting tools in the service.

4. No recording

Open Ears does not record calls. You agree that you will not record, capture, stream, or otherwise reproduce any audio, video, or on-screen content from calls or from the platform, and you will not encourage others to do so.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for harassment, hate, threats, sexual exploitation, or illegal activity.
• Share content that is obscene, abusive, or discriminatory.
• Attempt to bypass platform safety controls, identity checks, or payment controls.
• Impersonate another person or provide false information.

6. Medical and mental health disclaimer

Open Ears is not a provider of medical, psychological, counseling, or crisis services. Members are not necessarily trained mental health professionals. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a crisis, contact emergency services or a local crisis hotline.

7. Fees and payments

Some parts of the service may be paid (for example, pay-per-minute calls). Prices, billing, refunds, and any taxes will be presented to you in the product before you confirm a purchase.

8. Enforcement and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, including attempts to move contact off-platform or any form of recording. We may also remove content or restrict features to protect users and the integrity of the service.
